LETTING GO

LIFE IS SUCCESSION OF LESSONS WHICH MUST BE LIVED TO BE UNDERSTOOD

They didn't even make an offer.
She think it was the sign that so unhinged her at first. There it was, that imposible-to-miss sign stuck on our front lawn and announcing to the world that an era had ended : To everything there is a season.
Through several very long months, it went on and on, this parade of lookers.
Oh, how she hated that illusion!
Sometimes she tortured herself by staying around and eavesdropping as men and women she'd never met before flung open our closets and saw her shoes, her cosmetics, our dishes. But mostly. she took deep breaths and wondered......(???)

And the ending would be,

Yes to everything, there is a season. At last, ours parting had come.
And on moving day, as we pulled out the driveway for the last time, neither one of us even looked back.

On the other part,

"i cried when my mom told me. For three straight hours. Then i did the only thing i know how to do when faced with life- i wrote. And in my grief  and mourning, for far more than just a lost someone, serendipity whispered."
"It may be too late for me to over walk those cherished halls, but it's not too late to fulfill the dreams i came to believe were my own, in that situation. I realized this : that the magical isn't really miracle at all...it lies within."
