No doubt about it, a nineth birthday requires a spectacular celebration. So she did what she thought a self-respecting, bold woman who has learned that she is rensposible for her happiness might do-she decided to make her own party and take it with her! That her celebration took place in foreign country, where she was alone, surrounded by a group of strangers and involved a near death experiance that coincided with her birthday was grist for the mill.
Well, you probably guessed it. Not too long into the experiance, she was knocked out of the raft, went over a small waterfall into a whirlpool
(they call it a "hydraulic" but she call it "HEEL" )
and got sucked to the bottom of the river in a swirling confusion of water.
And that was just the begining on the ride. Fortunetly, she did have on a helmet and life jacket.
She cant imagine what she would have done without HIM.
Nevertheless, she did get quite an exfoliation from the numerous rocks she hit, not to mention all the water she swallowed.
"Four miles to go!" she verified, with a victorious shout.
" No! twenty-three miles to go. You've gone four."
Later that evening, glowing with superchanged self-confidence, I skated for another hour in my own neighborhood. I had journeyed beyond my own thinking. I felt like the confident woman on my T-shirt. I indeed was a "Babe on Blades".
AYUCHERRY THINK THAT'S ALL FOR TODAY.
GOING TAKE SOME REST.
